Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1954. After 60 years of construction and development, the university has become a high-level institution of traditional Chinese medicine with high teaching, research, and medical standards, and has a certain influence both domestically and internationally. The school was one of the first universities in China to receive the excellent conclusion of the Ministry of Education's undergraduate teaching level evaluation in 2004. In 207, it was the first university in China to pass the Ministry of Education's undergraduate certification of traditional Chinese medicine.
