Bozhou Preschool Teacher's School was founded in 1951, originally named Haoxian Normal School. In March 1988, it was approved by the Anhui Provincial Education Commission to be renamed Bozhou Preschool Teacher's School. It is one of the two independent secondary preschool teacher's schools in Anhui Province. The school is a member unit of the China Preschool Education Teacher Development Professional Committee, an executive member unit of the Anhui Preschool Education Professional Alliance, a provincial demonstration secondary vocational school in Anhui Province, and a training base for preschool teachers in Bozhou City.
