Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University is located in Lin'an City, the western outskirts of Hangzhou, at the western end of the Hangzhou Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. It is the only provincial-level undergraduate agricultural and forestry university in Zhejiang Province and a jointly built university by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and the State Forestry Administration. The school was founded in 1958 as Tianmu Forestry College, renamed Zhejiang Forestry College in 1966, and Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University in 2010. After nearly 60 years of construction, the school has developed into a multidisciplinary university with agriculture, forestry, and biological environment disciplines as its characteristics, covering eight major disciplines.
